Ambassadors Club

Advisor: Ms. Keenon

Meeting Time: varies – Location: In School/Out of School representation

The purpose of the Ambassadors is to serve our school. We have joined the club because we want to represent our school and wish to promote school pride. If you have a club or activity on which you need assistance we are happy to help. We are eager to be spokespersons, escorts, or helpers in any school activity you might sponsor.

Academic/LA

Advisor: Scott   

Meeting Time: 3 p.m - 4 p.m. - Meeting Location: TBD

Students participate in a variety of reading and writing activities.  These activities include but not limited to developing storylines or headliners and or campaign that promotes marketing of products or business plan

Robotics

Advisor: Mr Woodly

Meeting Time: 3 p.m - 4 p.m. - Meeting Location: TBD

Students are exposed to engineering and programming in Legorobotics  Students must meet certain academic and character standards.

Anime

Advisor: Mr Woodly

Student are exposed to Digital Art – creating a vast amount of anime and developed a story in an anime format

Tech Olympics

Advisor:  Mr Woodly

Meeting Time: 3 p.m - 4 p.m. - Meeting Location: TBD

Students are exposed to a competitive yet exciting opportunity to showcase creative talents i.e. robots, Digital Art, Art, Games, websites that students have created as well as develop technical devices/apps that enhances student awareness in today’s environment -  Students must meet certain academic and character standards.

Peer Mentoring

Advisor: Ms. Keenon

Meeting Time: 3 p.m - 4 p.m. - Meeting Location:  TBD   

A Peer Captain is an 11th or 12th grader who was nominated by teachers to be trained as a Peer Helper. They assist and support 7th grade students in homeroom and during seminar.  A Peer Mediator assists students in resolving their conflicts. They help students brainstorm solutions that both parties can agree upon.  A Peer Mentor works with 7th and 8th grade students, who have requested additional assistance in accomplishing their personal goals.

Video/Editing

Educating 7th -10th grade students the fundamentals of  video editing
