PREPARATORY ACADEMY
Preparatory Academy (PA) courses are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in order to be ready for the Senior Institute. PA courses can be completed in two or three years depending on the ability and achievement levels of each student. A typical first year PA schedule could include: English 9, Algebra 1, Biology, Modern World History, Proficiency Course, Information Technology Foundations, and either Art or Music. During the second year, students are able to take English 10, Geometry, Physical Science, US History, Information Technology Foundations, Physical Education, and other elective choices.
In order to complete the requirements of the PA and move into the Senior Institute, students must have at least 10 credits.
